Wanted to give a quick update on what I’ve been leading recently. August was pretty packed month, and it will only get more hectic from here. Below is what happened, what’s next, and where I need help.

August Movements – Amplify 4 Good:
+ Produced an Ideation Lab with the University of Georgia JW Fanning Institute for Leadership Development for Mercy Care managers.
+ Produced an Ideation Lab for Atlanta STEM Teachers with Ford Motor Company

August Movements – Goodie Nation:
+ Held a packed Founders’ Therapy at Nex Atlanta
+ Held a packed kickoff panel at General Assembly for the upcoming Gentrification Economic Inclusion Tech Incubator
+ Held Goodie Hack in Charlotte with the city’s Solid Waste Services Division in an effort to create healthier under-served communities

What’s Next – Amplify 4 Good:
+ Producing a PopUp Ideation Lab in Washington DC on September 15th during ALC on the topic of diversity in tech recruitment
+ Producing the Teacher Hackathon presented by Ford STEAM Lab in Detroit October 1-2 during the National Dropout Prevention Conference
+ Producing the Undergraduate Hackathon presented by State Farm during the National Black MBA Association Conference in New Orleans October 13-14

What’s Next – Goodie Nation:
+ Taking applications until September 9th for people to start a team in our incubator
+ Organizing an “intro to tech and social impact” for college students on September 8th in the AUC
+ Holding Goodie Ideation for professionals in our incubator on September 10th at Atlanta Tech Village to help them generate big ideas to connect those impacted by gentrification to economic opps.
+ Holding Founders’ Therapy in DC on September 13th with Groundwork Ventures at Impact Hub DC
+ Holding Goodie Ideation for college students on Septembers 17th at Morehouse
+ Holding Goodie Hack October 14th – 16th at TechSquare Labs to develop those ideas into prototypes.

What’s Next – My Other Company:
+ Hosting an All White Day Party with Ciroc Ultra Premium Vodka this Saturday in Orlando
+ Hosting several events with Crown Royal in Tallahassee during FAMU’s Homecoming in October and in Orlando during Florida Classic Weekend this November
